A Central Texas Independent Press
Oakheart Press started as a way to independently publish the works of J.L. Oakheart without the interference of a publishing agent. It soon became an umbrella organization composed of authors from the Central Texas region that have a desire to write and publish without interference from literary representatives or pay-to-win methods of large book publishers. Oakheart Press has formulated a methodology to guide and instruct authors in the process of self-publishing. At Oakheart Press, we understand writing a book is a labor of love and unique, and most importantly, independent stories sometimes need a bit of a boost in order to be seen. We can help you have your voice heard.
We also focus solely on human storytellers. Artificial intelligence has done its best to render the work of independent creatives obsolete by creating stories wholesale with just a few words from the prompt engineer. While this can be intuitive for research or a quick email to a coworker, there is no soul or human voice behind the empty words on the page. Oakheart Press is a humanity first organization. No AI will ever be able to compete with a human being designing their own stories or secondary world. Oakheart Press will never support or promote a work created by a machine, that is a guarantee. We, as an organization, reject AI and all of its permutations. Authors that feel the same way are free to inquire about joining the organization, we love to hear from you!

Oakheart Press provides loremaster services for writers, directors, video game designers, and any other creatives looking to add depth to their world. Oakheart Press is looking for local Central Texas authors who are looking for assistance in publishing their book. We offer editing, graphics, and publishing assistance for new writers, without charging the crazy fees that other Texas publishers charge.
